Security Architect

Covestro is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our IT Security team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud solutions for our entire MS Cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and design new Azure Cloud functions and standardize security solutions, including monitoring.
- Develop and implement security-relevant configurations and conduct regular architecture reviews.
- Collaborate with operational teams, IT security team, cloud teams, and cyber defense team to ensure seamless integration and knowledge transfer.
- Provide expert advice on security-related matters to cloud engineering, platform, and landing zone teams.
Requirements:
- University degree in (business) informatics, natural sciences, or a comparable education, with several years of professional experience in IT consultancy or digital transformation topics.
- Relevant certifications, such as Azure certifications, are highly valued.
- Excellent technical experience in designing MSFT Azure cloud architectures, including a strong understanding of the MSFT Azure Well Architecture Framework, landing zone concepts, and tenant structures.
- Strong analytical thinking, conceptual skills, and excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intercultural experience and very good English skills are essential.
