Security Architect

Covestro is seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our IT Security team. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud solutions for our entire MS Cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the security and integrity of our cloud-based systems.
- Design and implement security solutions, including monitoring and incident response.
- Develop and maintain secure cloud architectures, including Azure Well Architecture Framework and landing zone concepts.
- Provide expert advice on security-related matters to cloud engineering and platform teams.
- Conduct regular architecture reviews and ensure knowledge transfer between teams.
Requirements:
- University degree in (business) informatics, natural sciences, or a comparable education.
- Several years of professional experience in IT consultancy or digital transformation topics.
- Relevant certifications, such as Azure security certifications.
- Excellent analytical and conceptual skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Intercultural experience and very good English skills.
