Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at ExOne. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers and establishing strong relationships with key decision-makers in the B2B sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the assigned territory, with a focus on universities, research laboratories, and similar institutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target customers.
  • Sales (acquisition to completion) of our products, through intensive technical and economic consulting.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customization to customer needs.
  • Sales responsibility according to specified sales targets and KPIs.
  • Documentation of sales activities, leads, and customer interactions in the CRM system (Salesforce).

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience as a salesperson, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Background knowledge in 3D printing/additive manufacturing technology desirable, but not a must.
  • Ideally experience in sales at universities/research laboratories.
  • Proven track record in sales promotion and target achievement.
  • Strong prospecting skills and a proactive approach to lead generation.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to find your way in a dynamic environment and a high degree of adaptability and resilience.
  • Confident and skillful use of various workplace technologies and platforms.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken).
  • High degree of willingness to travel, within the assigned territory (50%).
