The Senior Sales Engineer for EMC Solutions at DENPAFLUX GmbH plays a pivotal role in our commercial strategy, tasked with spearheading the sales of our electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance products and services. This position requires a profound understanding of the sector and technical acumen to effectively identify, engage, and secure contracts with prospective clients, while also cultivating enduring partnerships.

Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership and Client Engagement:
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through strategic networking, industry conferences, and targeted outreach, concentrating on clients involved in the design, development, or manufacturing of electronic devices.
  • Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the needs of decision-makers.
  • Lead the negotiation and closure of intricate sales agreements, ensuring optimal outcomes for both DENPAFLUX and its clients.
Client Relationship Management and Support:
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, acting as their primary contact and trusted advisor.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Collaborate closely with the product development team to relay customer feedback and requirements, influencing future product enhancements.
Team Leadership and Strategic Contributions:
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales personnel, sharing industry best practices and technical insights.
  • Assume leadership of the sales team in the absence of the Commercial Director, ensuring continuity and strategic direction.
  • Engage in strategic sales planning, contributing valuable insights into market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes.
Administrative Duties and Reporting:
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within our CRM system.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial sales reports, ensuring precision and alignment with strategic goals.
Qualifications and SkillsEducational Background:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Extensive experience and technical knowledge in engineering processes, particularly those related to electronic product development.
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong grasp of engineering software and consulting solutions, with a proven track record of integrating these into client offerings.
Sales Expertise:
  • Significant experience in technical sales, with a demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales objectives, preferably in the software or engineering consulting domains.
  • Exceptional negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills, with a talent for developing deep client connections.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to discern customer needs and devise tailored solutions.
Communication and Leadership Abilities:
  • Relationship-focused, with a genuine interest in understanding customer motivations and a commitment to fostering long-term partnerships.
