Lead Technical Sales Executive

The Senior Sales Engineer for EMC Solutions at DENPAFLUX GmbH plays a pivotal role in driving our sales initiatives, focusing on the promotion of our EMC compliance products and services. This position requires a profound understanding of the sector and technical acumen to effectively engage potential clients, close sales, and maintain enduring partnerships. The Senior Sales Engineer is also expected to mentor junior sales personnel, provide leadership in the absence of the Commercial Director, and contribute to the overarching strategy of the sales division.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership and Client Engagement:- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through strategic networking, industry conferences, and targeted outreach, particularly among clients involved in the design, development, or manufacturing of electronic products.
- Deliver high-level product demonstrations and presentations tailored to decision-makers within prospective organizations.
- Lead negotiations and finalize complex sales agreements, ensuring optimal outcomes for both DENPAFLUX and its clients.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, acting as their primary contact and trusted advisor.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new business opportunities, including upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to relay customer feedback and needs, influencing future product offerings.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior sales representatives, sharing industry best practices and technical insights.
- Assume temporary leadership of the sales team in the absence of the Commercial Director, ensuring operational continuity and strategic direction.
- Engage in strategic sales planning, offering insights into market trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscapes.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities within our CRM system.
- Assist in the preparation of financial sales reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic goals.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.
- Extensive experience and technical knowledge in engineering processes, particularly in electronic product development.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong familiarity with engineering software and consulting solutions, with a proven ability to integrate these into client offerings.
- Significant experience in technical sales, with a demonstrated history of meeting and exceeding sales targets, preferably in the software or engineering consulting sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation, closing, and relationship-building capabilities, with a knack for developing deep client connections.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and create tailored solutions.
- Relationship-oriented, with a genuine interest in understanding customer motivations and a focus on fostering long-term partnerships.
- Proven leadership and mentoring skills, capable of guiding and developing junior team members.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and project management tools (e.g., Miro, Notion) is a plus.
