Competence Management Lead (f/m/d)

About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and effectively communicating a global robust, clear, scalable, and digitized Competence Management framework for our Project Entity function. This framework will provide our organization with an overview of the skills we have today and those required for our successful future operation.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as our Competence Management Lead (f/m/d) in Project Entity. You will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of what it is like to work in a dynamic and diverse organization, grow your leadership skills, broaden your global experience with diverse collaborators, and contribute to excellent project execution.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Technical Lead of the Competency Management team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships and act as a trusted partner with key customers, including HR, business leaders from the different functions in Project Entity, and external partners.
  • Ensure the competency framework is up to date, aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives, and relevant to the evolving needs of the business.
  • Oversee, support, and improve the application of our competency assessment tool (SELP – Siemens Energy Learning Platform) and processes.
  • Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify competency gaps for developing targeted programs together with our Learning & Development Team.
  • Monitor and analyse competency data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on competency management activities and outcomes to senior leadership.

What You Bring

  • Several years of experience in competency management, talent development, or a similar role.
  • Leadership skills proven by first experiences in team management.
  • Exceptional communication and social skills shown in a dynamic international environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combined with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Experience in project management and change management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, German is desirable.
