Your Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the CoP Lead (Conformity of Production) is to establish, maintain, and synchronize the testing schedule for the year while ensuring clear requirements are communicated to all stakeholders. This role involves monitoring and evaluating that the activities within CoP accurately reflect compliance with regulations validated during the homologation phase for all markets, car lines, and model years.
Key Duties Include:
- Designing effective processes for the random selection of vehicles and automating logistics operations.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes in type approvals across all car lines and updating the testing plan accordingly.
- Defining, establishing, and maintaining procedures that outline the necessary information for successful test implementation.
- Updating tests in alignment with new model years or car lines.
- Conducting risk assessments for potential issues, implementing necessary countermeasures, and escalating concerns when required.
- Collaborating with stakeholders across various functions to align the CoP Test plan with the intended objectives.
- Ensuring comprehensive execution and monitoring of testing activities to meet regulatory standards (CoP-P and CoP-Q).
- Creating the annual test plan linked to CoP activities, considering risk assessments related to all decisions.
- Overseeing the implementation of all tests outlined in the CoP test plan.
- Ensuring timely execution of all required tests.
- Collecting and analyzing test reports to generate comprehensive CoP reports.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree, preferably with a focus on Quality, or relevant training in CoP-related areas (regulations, testing protocols, functional safety, cybersecurity, software management, etc.).
- 3-5 years of experience in a Tier 1/2 automotive supplier or automotive OEM, particularly in areas related to CoP.
- Proficiency in both German and English is essential; knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking, task prioritization, and effective time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and the ability to persuade while being empathetic.
- Project Management and/or change management certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated project leadership capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail and technical specifications.
- Strong organizational and technical skills with a results-driven approach.
- A confident and outgoing personality with excellent networking abilities.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
