Conformity of Production Manager

Key Responsibilities


• Design and implement effective processes for the random selection of vehicles and automate logistics operations.


• Track and analyze changes in regulations related to type approvals across all vehicle lines and incorporate these into the updated testing framework.


• Establish, document, and uphold procedures that outline all necessary information for successful test execution, including submissions, processes, and expected outcomes.


• Assist in updating testing protocols in accordance with the launch of new model years or vehicle lines.


• Conduct risk assessments for potential issues, define and initiate necessary countermeasures, and escalate matters when test results are unfavorable or safety is compromised.


• Collaborate with various stakeholders (Engineering, Vehicle Compliance, Production, Logistics, etc.) to align the CoP Test plan, ensuring it meets the requirements of all targeted markets.


• Oversee the comprehensive execution and monitoring of testing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CoP-P and CoP-Q).


• Develop the annual testing schedule linked to CoP activities, considering risk assessments associated with all decisions.


• Manage the execution of all tests outlined in the CoP testing schedule.


• Ensure timely delivery of all required tests.


• Compile all test reports and generate comprehensive CoP documentation.


• Conduct thorough analyses of test report contents.

Desired Qualifications


• A relevant academic degree, preferably with a background in Quality Assurance or related training, familiar with CoP topics (regulations, testing protocols, functional safety, cybersecurity, software management, etc.).


• 3-5 years of experience in a Tier 1/2 automotive supplier or automotive OEM, particularly in areas related to CoP activities.


• Proficiency in both German and English is essential; knowledge of French is an advantage.


• Strong analytical thinking, effective prioritization, and time management skills.


• Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and the ability to engage and persuade others.


• Project Management or change management certification is a plus.


• Proven project leadership capabilities.


• High attention to detail and technical specifications.


• Exceptional organizational and technical skills with a focus on results.


• A confident and outgoing personality with strong networking abilities among peers, management, and external partners.


• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
