Role Overview: The primary responsibility of the CoP Lead (Conformity of Production) is to establish, maintain, and synchronize the testing schedule for the year while ensuring clear communication of requirements across all interfaces. This role involves monitoring and evaluating that all production activities align with the regulations validated during the homologation phase for all markets, car lines, and model years.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust processes for the random selection of vehicles and automate logistics operations.
- Track regulatory changes in type approvals across all car lines and update the testing plan accordingly.
- Develop and maintain procedures that outline the necessary information for successful test execution.
- Support the revision of tests in alignment with new model years or car lines.
- Conduct risk assessments for potential issues, define necessary countermeasures, and escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to align the CoP Test plan, ensuring it meets market requirements.
- Oversee the comprehensive implementation and monitoring of testing activities to meet regulatory standards (CoP-P and CoP-Q).
- Establish the annual test plan, considering all aspects and associated risks.
- Manage the execution of all tests outlined in the CoP test plan.
- Ensure timely delivery of all testing activities.
- Compile test reports and generate comprehensive CoP reports.
- Conduct thorough analyses of test report content.
Qualifications:
- A degree, preferably with a focus on Quality, or relevant training in CoP-related areas (regulations, testing procedures, functional safety, cybersecurity, software management, etc.).
- 3-5 years of experience in a Tier 1/2 automotive supplier or automotive OEM in areas related to CoP.
- Proficiency in German and English is essential; knowledge of French is advantageous.
- Strong analytical thinking, task prioritization, and effective time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and the ability to moderate discussions effectively.
- Project Management and/or change management certification is a plus.
- Demonstrated project leadership capabilities.
- Attention to detail and technical precision.
- Strong organizational skills and results-driven approach.
- Confident and outgoing personality with strong networking abilities.
- Willingness to travel for business purposes.
