About Our Client

Our client is a highly successful European buy-and-build platform in the services sector backed by a private equity investor from the Nordics.

Their revenue has exceeded EUR 700 million, and they are now looking to expand their German platform by hiring an experienced M&A Manager based in Düsseldorf. This strategic move will enable them to solidify their position in the German market and drive further growth.

Job Responsibilities
  • Development and Execution of M&A Strategy: The ideal candidate will have ownership over large parts of the M&A process, reporting directly to the Head of M&A.
  • Target Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate potential targets to align with the company's growth objectives.
  • Due Diligence Process Management: Plan, execute, and lead due diligence processes to ensure seamless deal execution.
  • Deal Negotiations: Lead negotiations with target companies to secure favorable deals.
  • Business Case Development: Create compelling business cases to justify investment opportunities.
  • Network Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of several years of experience in corporate development, M&A, private equity, or transaction services.
  • A strong track record of executing deals, particularly in the German small- & mid-cap segment.
  • Fluency in German and English.
  • A proactive self-starter mentality and high self-sufficiency.
Location and Salary Information

This role is based in Düsseldorf, Germany, offering a competitive salary, estimated to be around €80,000-€120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
