SAP Consultant (in-house)
with a focus on SAP HCM
Field of Activity:
The IT Development department in the area of "Digital Transformation and IT Solutions" (DIGITS) supports all central areas of the company as well as the external structure of GIZ in the conception, development, and provision of standard software solutions and in-house developments. The employees of IT Development work closely with the specialist departments along their application needs. The developed solutions are primarily based on the strategic platforms of SAP and Microsoft.
The "IT Solutions Personnel" group is responsible for the support as well as the conceptual and technical further development of personnel management applications in SAP HCM. Currently, the transition to S/4HANA and the activation of cloud applications for talent management and travel management are in progress.
Your Responsibilities:
Support, further development, and new development of functionalities in SAP HCM on-premise and in the mentioned cloud systems Analysis and consulting of personnel processes, conceptual development and implementation of legal and company-specific solutions in SAP HCM in close collaboration with the specialist department Participation in the development of strategic deployment options for software products to support the specialist department Participation in and leadership of projects as well as planning, execution, and coordination of the introduction of personnel applications Collaboration with external service providers in the HCM environmentYour Profile:
Completed university degree in computer science/business informatics or a comparable qualification Extensive and solid experience in the mapping and implementation of personnel processes in SAP HCM Experience with at least one cloud-based personnel application and/or Fiori-based self-services is desirable Comprehensive experience in various project roles with different project management methods Strong analytical skills as well as a goal-oriented, structured, responsible, and careful working style High initiative, flexibility, and teamwork skills, good communication and presentation skills Fluent German and good English skillsWe look forward to your
