Your Role as a Solutions Advisor

A Solutions Advisor (f/m/d) collaborates closely with clients and prospects to pinpoint and address business challenges while achieving their strategic goals through SAP solutions. Within the sales team, the Solutions Advisor (f/m/d) serves as the primary expert, possessing both functional and technical expertise throughout the sales process. You will support deals by engaging in discovery sessions, executive discussions, and presentations, delivering software demonstrations that articulate SAP's unique value proposition. Additionally, the Solutions Advisor (f/m/d) will take part in marketing initiatives to stimulate demand, lead Design Thinking workshops, and work alongside the broader sales team to identify opportunities within existing accounts.

As a Solutions Advisor (f/m/d) in the SAP Academy for Customer Success, you will:

  • Engage in a comprehensive program designed to equip you for a successful career in customer engagement at SAP.
  • Participate in hands-on learning experiences with colleagues globally, acquiring diverse business, industry, and SAP solution skills while working with innovative technologies.
  • Receive mentorship and on-the-job training from a senior Solutions Advisor, gaining practical experience that prepares you to guide clients through their Digital Transformation journey.

The program will enhance your understanding of SAP and provide you with the professional experience necessary to effectively serve our clients. Full-time employment begins immediately, with practical applications for your role. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be expected to lead customer discovery sessions and surveys to uncover business challenges and innovation opportunities. You will create and deliver impactful software demonstrations that persuade clients to choose SAP over competitors. Furthermore, you will support demand generation through marketing events and assist in deal execution by responding to requests for proposals.

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience with a solid foundation in technical and business processes, familiarity with pertinent technologies/solutions, and strong communication or customer-facing skills.
  • Proficient communication abilities, including fluency in English and German (both written and spoken).
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills characterized by enthusiasm, curiosity, effective listening, professionalism, empathy, and a proactive approach.
  • Proven capability to collaborate across diverse stakeholders and business functions.
  • Strong business acumen, demonstrating knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
  • Willingness to explore functional and technical details to grasp the comprehensive picture.
