Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Spacecraft Operations Specialist to support our satellite operations services for the Meteosat weather satellites. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating daily activities in the control center and manned facilities
- Performing mission analysis and preparing reports on system operability and availability
- Planning and recording operational and maintenance inputs, with initial conflict resolution
- Maintaining the satellite and ground segment database
- Analyzing system issues using available reporting and analysis tools
- Creating and developing operational and flight procedures
- Preparing regular performance reports
- Supporting users and customers in mission operations and data processing
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, telecommunications, physics, or aerospace engineering
- Experience with real-time systems and operational procedures
- Structured and analytical working style
- Fluency in English, German an advantage
- Knowledge in space communication, radio frequency technologies, and/or ground segment systems an advantage
