Meteosat Spacecraft Operations Specialist

OHB Digital Connect GmbH is a leading provider of satellite ground systems and services. Our team is seeking a skilled Meteosat Spacecraft Analyst to support the operations of the Meteosat weather satellites for EUMETSAT.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily activities in the control center and manned facilities
  • Perform mission analysis and prepare reports on system operability and availability
  • Plan and record operational and maintenance inputs, resolving initial conflicts
  • Maintain the satellite and ground segment database
  • Analyze system issues using available tools and data sets
  • Develop and refine operational and flight procedures
  • Prepare regular performance reports
  • Support users and customers in mission operations and data processing

Your Qualifications

  • Degree in computer science, telecommunications, physics, or aerospace engineering
  • Experience with real-time systems and operational procedures
  • Structured and analytical approach
  • Fluency in English, German an advantage
  • Knowledge of space communication, radio frequency technologies, and/or ground segment systems an advantage
