Senior Manager Corporate Controlling- Cash Flow

As a key member of the Finance function at adidas, this role is crucial in driving financial steering and decision-making through high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and planning. The Corporate Controlling team plays a central role in this process, providing financial insights to the Senior Leadership Team and driving growth and value creation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the end-to-end indirect cash flow process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting and forecasting.
- Develop and implement best-in-class analytics, procedures, and processes to drive cash flow optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive long-term simulations, scenario modeling, and target setting activities.
- Interface with Corporate Finance teams, including Corporate Tax, Corporate Treasury, and Corporate Accounting, to ensure alignment on cash flow management.
- Drive fact-based decision-making through comprehensive financial analysis and simulations.
- Develop and maintain result-oriented communication packages to present cash flow insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and manage cash flow-relevant KPIs, ensuring alignment with Integrated Business Planning and Market Finance teams.
- Engage with markets, corporate functions, and Corporate Finance teams to drive forecast accuracy and accountability.

- Corporate Finance Leadership Team, including Vice Presidents for Corporate Treasury, Corporate Tax, and Corporate Accounting
- Other Corporate Controlling teams, including Sales and Market Finance, HQ Finance
- Finance and demand planning functions in Markets
- Excellent analytical mindset and skills, with a strong affinity for working with numbers and managing large datasets.
- Experience with indirect cash flow methods and cash flow management.
- Corporate Finance experience and comprehensive expertise in financial data analysis.
- Good knowledge of IFRS and accounting standards.
- Experience with complex international companies in matrix organizations, preferably in the sporting goods industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to draw to-the-point conclusions and recommendations.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and independently within a global and changing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to mediate and drive consensus across cross-functional stakeholders and teams.
- Comprehensive business understanding of processes, structures, and IT systems, including an understanding of external business drivers.
- Very good communication skills to serve and manage senior leadership teams and cross-functional business leaders and stakeholders.
- Comprehensive understanding of system landscape with strong PowerPoint, Excel skills, and general MS office skills.
- Good planning and organization skills, including project management skills.
- Process-orientated and end-to-end mindset driven.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Advanced degree or qualification in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting.
- Minimum of 6-8 years' experience in Accounting/Controlling/Reporting within an international company.
- Track record of outstanding performance in education and career.
