We are currently recruiting for a Team Leader for our Customs Value Added Services team based in Germany. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing and developing your team to ensure all VAS activities and customs entries are handled according to regulations, timelines, and the Union Customs Code.
Key Responsibilities:
You will lead cost savings and change initiatives, drive business continuity and growth, and focus on customer service and satisfaction. You will also build a good working relationship with your team, supervising and developing them through learning, development initiatives, coaching, goal setting, and periodic feedback and reviews.
Requirements:
We are looking for a strong business leader with a deep understanding of Freight Forwarding/Value Added Services/Customs Services business and legislation. You should be an articulate individual with excellent communication skills, able to relate to people at all levels of an organization. Conflict resolution and negotiation skills are essential, as well as a drive for results and a team player mentality.
