Job Title: Credit Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Analyst to join our team at Societe Generale. As a Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing credit requests and managing an allocated credit exposure portfolio related to LargeCap and/or MidCap Corporate client groups domiciling in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze credit requests and provide recommendations to senior bankers and client relationship managers
  • Manage an allocated credit exposure portfolio, ensuring effective and efficient work
  • Collaborate with senior bankers, client relationship managers, and other departments to ensure quality standards and improve efficiency
  • Participate in process optimization and ensure compliance with internal credit approval processes
  • Develop expertise related to the development of allocated industries and sectors
Requirements:
  • University degree in economics, finance, or business administration, or a bank apprenticeship with advanced training
  • 5 or more years of professional experience in credit analysis, including cash flow analysis at a corporate or investment bank
  • Past exposure to the specific challenges related to LargeCap and MidCap Corporate clients is a plus
  • Sound knowledge in balance sheet analysis, accounting rules (IFRS/IAS, US-GAAP, and HGB), and cash flow analysis
  • Relevant knowledge in risk analysis and financial projections
  • Fluency in both English and German language (oral and written) is required
