We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at EnBW Energie Baden-Wüttemberg AG. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a sustainable Category Strategy for energy storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a Category Strategy that optimizes value and sustainable security of supply for EnBW
- Lead tenders and commercial negotiations of significant value to ensure business targets and infrastructure ramp-up objectives are met on time at optimal Total Cost of Ownership and quality
- Drive holistic performance of our supply base in the field of battery storage solutions
- Develop and realize continuous improvement action plans in this field across the company
- Master's degree or equivalent in engineering, business, legal studies, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in strategic procurement, with at least 3 years focused on energy infrastructure plant and grid projects
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and building strong supplier relationships
- Strong communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and stakeholders
- Fluent in German and English, with the willingness to travel
