Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to join our Oral Health Care team. As a Category Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our local business within the Oral Health Care category, embodying the voice of the shopper and customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and lead the deployment of Oral Health Care annual brand plans, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives.
- Own the commercial deployment plan to local Sales teams, in partnership with Marketing teams, to ensure successful execution of Oral Health Care initiatives.
- Partner with the Head of CS&I and BI DACH to drive the voice of external reality, bringing the outside in, and develop solid channel strategies to win within the category for the country.
- Lead Go To Market, CVA input, and target ownership for Oral Health Care innovation needs, ensuring clarity of what is needed to win for the country and for different channels.
- Support the Head of CS&I and BI DACH with commercial ownership of Oral Health Care business challenges and opportunities.
- Tailor Oral Health Care centrally deployed innovation tools to be fit for purpose for local sales teams to sell and deliver initiative target objectives.
- Partner with Cluster and Central CS&I teams to influence Commercial innovation needs for Oral Health Care.
Win in Executional Excellence
- Lead Oral Health Care innovation execution and collate KPI progress tracking for the country.
- Lead delivery and reporting of commercial components of the Local Oral Health Care Success Model, built by utilizing the total Category Success Model.
- Lead definition across the country of the Perfect Store strategy, by channel and key customer for Oral Health Care, including distribution targets, price and promotional guidance, and visibility targets.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to deliver winning execution of annual plans in market for Oral Health Care.
- Lead creation of local selling tools to win in each channel.
- Own and define Perfect Store and DVRP targets and KPIs measurement for Oral Health Care and co-lead the action plan with Retail Excellence Manager to drive continuous year-on-year improvements.
Build Capability and Enable Success
- Optimize processes and tools for maximum efficiency and impact.
- Proactive contributor to share and reapply sessions.
- Partner with the Central and Clusters CS&I community to build community capability.
- Elevate customer development excellence by defining winning executions tailored for channels and customers, in close collaboration with Retail Excellence Manager and KAMs.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a large FMCG/Consumer Health environment, including leadership experience.
- Strong preference for extensive experience in Shopper and Trade Marketing and Sales.
- Proven experience in successful business delivery in commercial roles.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective strategies, processes, and controls, including trade funds management and supporting comprehensive business planning processes like JBP's and Pharmacy FSF cycle plans.
- Demonstrated success in external relationships and integrating omni-channel strategies and managing retailer relationships.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and German.
