Job Title: Global Events Internship

ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability e.V. is seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join our Global Events Team as an Intern. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and management, while contributing to the organization's mission of promoting sustainable urban development.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will support the planning and implementation of various events, including the Daring Cities 2023 conference, the ICLEI World Congress, and the LGMA Multilevel Action Pavilion at COP28. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with event planning, coordination, and execution
  • Supporting the team in charge of program development and speaker management
  • Managing event websites, email accounts, and social media channels
  • Coordinating logistics and operations for events
  • Developing content for newsletters, promotional materials, and social media
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must be enrolled in a relevant field of study, such as Event Management, Marketing, or Communications. The ideal candidate will have experience with web editing, desktop publishing software, and virtual platforms. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages is an asset.
