Join the Global Shield Team as a Communication and Events Intern

The Global Shield against Climate Risks is a collaborative initiative between the G7 and the Vulnerable Twenty Group of finance ministers (V20). As a Communication and Events Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the secretariat's work and contributing to the success of the initiative.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the development and implementation of communication and public relations strategies, including social media, newsletters, and website content.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of events, conferences, and meetings.
  • Contribute to the creation of engaging content, including blog posts, articles, and social media posts.
  • Support the processing of thematic focal points and the onboarding of new partners.
  • Prepare and monitor internal meetings and meetings with members and partners.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago.
  • Fluent in English, with good knowledge of German and French an advantage.
  • Initial experience in topics such as adaptation to climate change, international climate policy, disaster risk management, or climate is an advantage.
  • Good self-organization and ability to work independently.
  • High ability to work in a team and communication skills.
