About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cybersecurity Solutions Expert to join our team at Palo Alto Networks. As a Solutions Consultant, you will play a key role in defining technical solutions that secure our customers' key business imperatives and ensuring value realization of their investment with Palo Alto Networks across the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and expertise to customers in their security transformation journey.
  • Solution Guidance: Offer guidance on technical solutions that align with customers' business needs and ensure value realization of their investment with Palo Alto Networks.
  • Customer Engagement: Engage with customers to understand their technical, operational, and commercial imperatives and articulate the key technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of their prospects and customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to ensure overall customer implementation and adoption of solutions.
  • Communication: Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to influence through effective presentations and customer-specific demos, technical engagements, and workshops.
  • Validation: Lead successful technical validation efforts based on best practices to ensure technical win in assigned opportunities.
  • Resource Orchestration: Orchestrate supporting resources (Specialists, Channel Resources, Customer Support) to ensure a one-team approach that demonstrates a cohesive strategy.
  • End-to-End Solutions: Promote end-to-end solutions that include Palo Alto Networks and/or partner professional services to ensure customers realize business value sooner.
  • Competitive Landscape: Understand the competitive landscape and effectively differentiate our leadership.
  • Professional Development: Continuously invest in yourself to develop technical and professional skills that drive your ever-increasing contributions to the success of our customers while actively participating within the Solutions Consultant community and at industry events.
  • Stakeholder Identification: Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships with key personas to build and drive a security architecture transformation roadmap.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Understanding of data networking and/or modern application design and cloud architectures.
  • Cybersecurity Solutions: Delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
  • Influencing Stakeholders: Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders; prior experience in a pre-sales role is a prerequisite.
  • Technical Presentations: Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
  • Solution Selling: Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions - Network Security, SASE, SaaS, Cloud Security, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
  • Partnering with Customer Support: Partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.
  • Complex Sales: Complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions are preferred.
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English and German.
