Channel Sales Manager for the EMEA Region

We are seeking a highly skilled Channel Sales Manager to join our team at ExOne. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our distribution network and driving sales growth in the EMEA region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our existing representatives and partners in the EMEA region.
  • Coordinate the deployment of Desktop Metal personnel and resources to achieve partner performance goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic goals in assigned partner accounts and regions.
  • Lead joint partner planning processes for performance targets, financial targets, and critical milestones.
  • Assess, clarify, and validate partner needs to ensure alignment with ExOne's goals.
  • Sales via partner organizations to end consumers in coordination with the partners' sales resources.
  • Manage potential sales channel conflicts with other sales channels through effective communication and compliance with sales channel rules.
  • Manage lead distribution activities to multiple partners in the assigned region.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecast data and regular communication with management.
  • Ensure partners comply with partner agreements and programs.
  • Represent ExOne at important industry events.
  • Recruit and replace partners as needed to responsibly grow the overall business.
  • Achieve assigned sales quota for the region and individual partner accounts.
  • Maintain high partner satisfaction levels.

Requirements:

  • Degree in business administration or similar.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in a technology-based B2B environment for capital goods.
  • Ideal experience in the field of 3D printing/additive manufacturing.
  • Experience in sales at universities/research laboratories is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of product development and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with high adaptability and resilience.
  • Confident and adept at using various workplace technologies such as Slack, Zoom, and navigating multiple computer platforms and applications.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); other languages such as German are a plus.
  • High degree of willingness to travel, within the assigned territory (75%).
