About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representative to join our team at Moody's. As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to develop strategic account plans and territories
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales professional for further development and closure
  • Design and deploy focused sales campaigns to expand Moody's presence and brand in specific markets
  • Conduct research to develop target account contact information and account intelligence to inform sales prospecting and marketing program strategies
  • Utilize CRM software to track and measure all sales activity
Requirements
  • First experience in a sales/business development/account management role in a software or financial organization
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related area advantageous
  • Background in fixed-income credit or financial software advantageous
  • Professional fluency in English and German essential
  • Confident phone manner and objection handling skills
  • Clear written communication skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
  • Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment with high attention to detail
  • Motivated by goal attainment and performance measurement
  • Proficiency in Internet searches, MS Office, and CRM solutions advantageous
