Maintenance Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Documentation Manager to join our team at Alstom in Siegen. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating the creation and delivery of maintenance documentation for our bogie and drives products.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and coordinate the activities for the creation of maintenance documentation in line with project and customer requirements.
- Manage the retrieval of input data necessary for the creation of maintenance documentation, including sub-supplier input.
- Coordinate the creation of maintenance documentation, including maintenance manuals, procedures, and illustrated spare parts catalogues.
- Manage internal and external subcontracting to technical writers.
- Ensure information exchange with other engineering functions, including design, RAMS, and LCC.
- Manage customer feedback and optimize maintenance documentation workload and budgets.
- Ensure high-level standardization of technical content to optimize re-use.
- Publish maintenance documentation using Alstom's standard method and tools.

- An engineering degree and/or qualification as a technical writer.
- Experience in the railway industry, particularly in railway vehicle maintenance.
- Experience in technical publishing.
- A sense of coordination and strong communication skills.
- Business fluency in English and German, with French language skills beneficial.
- A willingness to travel.
