Maintenance Documentation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Documentation Specialist to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of our documentation team, you will be responsible for coordinating the creation and delivery of maintenance documentation for our bogie and drives.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the creation and delivery of maintenance documentation, including maintenance manuals, procedures, and illustrated spare parts catalogues.
- Plan and manage the activities for the creation of maintenance documentation, ensuring it meets project and customer requirements.
- Coordinate the retrieval of input data necessary for the creation of maintenance documentation, including sub-supplier input.
- Manage internal and external subcontracting to technical writers, ensuring high-quality documentation is delivered on time.
- Ensure information exchange with other engineering functions, including design, RAMS, and LCC.
- Manage internal and external customer feedback, ensuring it is addressed and incorporated into the documentation.
- Manage maintenance documentation workload and budgets, optimizing BCC engineering share.
- Ensure high-level standardization of technical content to optimize re-use.
- Publish maintenance documentation using Alstom's standard method and tools, including the electronic catalogue.
- Support, implement, and manage projects and innovation processes related to maintenance documentation.
- Organize customer training, including planning, coordination of training material preparation, and logistics.
- Manage training evaluation and capitalize on return of experience.
- Engineering degree and/or qualification as a technical writer.
- Experience in the railway industry, particularly in railway vehicle maintenance.
- Experience in technical publishing.
- Sense of coordination and strong communication skills.
- Business fluent in English and German, with French language skills beneficial.
- Willingness to travel.
