Job Summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager to lead the Origination and Closing of acquisition and Joint Venture/Co-Development opportunities for Onshore Wind/PV in Germany and across Europe.

A global leader in renewable energy project development, execution, and operation is looking for a professional to drive their growth strategy in the German market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a 3–5-year strategy to accelerate the company's Onshore Wind & PV portfolios in Germany
  • Manage the purchase process for Wind and PV projects, including the negotiation of project development and project purchase agreements
  • Coordinate due diligence, legal, and finance activities related to closing deals
  • Prepare business cases, investment memos, and proposals for investment committees and present to senior management to secure investment
  • Identify business opportunities in the German renewable energy market
  • Progress to Regional Head of Business Development within 2-3 years

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Project/Business Development experience in the renewable energy sector, managing the purchase and acquisition of projects, portfolios, and companies
  • Deep understanding of Mergers and Acquisitions and Joint Ventures
  • Strong networking and negotiation skills
  • Fluency in German - English is a bonus
