About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Development Associate to join our team at Baobab Insurance GmbH. As a key member of our founding team, you will play a vital role in shaping the company's long-term success.

In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to contribute to top-level strategic decisions and develop in-depth analyses on potential growth avenues. You will also support the execution of cross-functional strategic projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with our CEO and leadership team to shape the company's strategy and drive growth
  • Develop research-based analyses on international expansion, new products, and strategic partnerships to inform overarching positioning and strategy
  • Support the execution of cross-functional strategic projects from concept to delivery
Your Profile
  • Prior experience in high-growth startups, business operations roles in tech, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity is essential
  • You must have strong slide writing and presentation skills, as well as experience working on multi-stakeholder projects
  • Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills are required
  • You should be reliable, accurate, and independent in your work
  • Fluency in German and English is necessary for effective communication with stakeholders
  • Able to work onsite at our Berlin office
