About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Technical Account Manager to join our team at Simus Systems. As a Sales and Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new customers for our data quality, data management, and calculation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire new customers for our data quality, data management, and calculation solutions
  • Build a consistent sales pipeline through structured working methods
  • Contribute to the expansion of existing customer relationships
  • Proactively collaborate with sales and consulting colleagues to develop cross- and up-selling opportunities
  • Sell consulting services as add-ons
  • Develop into a reliable point of contact for our customers, assist them in their optimization approaches, and write your own success story with us
  • Record relevant data on sales activities in our CRM system
  • Present software alone or together with the product specialist at live demonstrations and external events (e.g. trade fairs and customer events)
Requirements
  • You have a completed degree in mechanical engineering, business engineering, sales engineering, or a comparable education
  • It would be ideal if you already have experience in sales or consulting for complex software products and projects
  • You are a newcomer to the profession and are interested in the topic of technical sales
  • You have a strong sales, service, and hands-on mentality
  • You are good at communicating complex issues in a simple way
  • You actively listen and recognize customer needs
  • You are characterized by strong persuasiveness and assertiveness
  • You see not only the product, but the added value for the customer
  • You consider team ability, communication strength, and flexibility to be your core competencies
  • You can express yourself perfectly in German both verbally and in writing, and English also poses no problem for you
