About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Lead to join our team at Flink in Freiburg. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth operation of our store, managing a team of up to 30 employees, and representing the Hub Manager as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and lead a team of employees, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
Implement, analyze, and optimize new processes to ensure efficient store operations.
Delegate tasks, work proactively in the daily business, and ensure the quality and hygiene standards are met.
Manage the daily control, booking, and inventory control, as well as the picking of goods.
Collaborate with the Hub Manager to develop and maintain the personnel deployment plan.
Ensure compliance with quality and food safety regulations (HACCP).
Requirements:
Excellent communication skills, self-confidence, and the ability to make quick, rational decisions.
A strong team player with a passion for working with people, and a willingness to motivate and lead the team.
A calm and composed demeanor, with the ability to motivate the team every day.
Able to delegate tasks, set an example, and work hands-on in the daily business.
A high level of self-expectation, with a solutions-oriented approach.
Flexible and able to work regular overtime and weekends.
Excellent German and English language skills, and a willingness to learn new technologies.
Prior experience in the retail industry, food service, or logistics, with experience in team or employee leadership is an asset.
