Your Responsibilities

  • You will assist in securing the IT infrastructure of Mercedes-Benz AG.
  • Your role involves identifying security vulnerabilities through comprehensive threat assessments and devising customized countermeasures for a variety of IT systems.
  • You will provide support for software development initiatives throughout their complete lifecycle.
  • Your expertise will be utilized in designing security frameworks for IT systems and processes.
  • You will enhance our methodologies and tools to bolster application security within software development projects.

Your Qualifications

  • You possess extensive knowledge in threat modeling, application security, secure software development, DevSecOps, or secure system architecture, and can effectively apply this knowledge in practice.
  • You have experience in conducting threat assessments and analyzing system architectures.
  • You are adept at understanding modern system architectures and can quickly grasp the workings of specific IT systems through discussions with stakeholders.
  • Your passion for IT security drives you to continually expand your knowledge.
  • You are a collaborative team player, committed to advancing not only your own skills but also those of your team and environment.
  • You have relevant experience and expertise in the field of IT security.
  • You are familiar with cloud environments such as Azure or AWS and can identify key services.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and conceptual skills, with a keen ability to develop situation-appropriate solutions.
  • You communicate effectively and empathetically, capable of presenting and explaining results to both technical experts and management.
  • You bring excellent written and spoken skills in both German and English.
