Job Title: Avionics Systems Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Architect to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As an Avionics Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing avionics systems for our helicopters.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Collect stakeholders' needs and define operational concepts for avionics systems
  • Perform functional analysis and define functional architecture for avionics systems
  • Specify all requirements for avionics systems, including functional and non-functional ones
  • Validate and cascade avionics requirements to avionics functions
  • Define avionics external interfaces and propose the most effective avionics design
  • Lead Filter Boards at avionics level for problem reports and ensure overall verification activities
  • Prepare technical substantiation materials for Qualification/Certification at avionic level and lead flight clearance activity
  • Perform interface with other helicopter systems and ground segment/open world


Requirements:


  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, or similar
  • Profound practical experience in similar operational domains
  • Knowledge of tools such as Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill, Cameo, and 3D Experience
  • Team Spirit, customer orientation, and a 'welcome problems attitude'
  • Ability to work in complex environments and manage priorities/urgencies
  • English: negotiation level; French/German is beneficial
