Job Overview:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Architect to join our team in Donauwörth, Germany.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge avionics systems for our helicopters, collaborating with a diverse team of experts from around the world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze stakeholder needs to define operational concepts and use-cases for avionics systems
  • Perform functional analysis and define functional architecture, including functional flows
  • Specify requirements for avionics systems, including functional and non-functional ones
  • Validate and cascade avionics requirements to avionics functions
  • Define avionics external interfaces and propose effective avionics designs
  • Lead Filter Boards for problem reports and ensure overall verification activities
  • Prepare technical substantiation materials for Qualification/Certification
  • Collaborate with other helicopter systems and ground segment stakeholders
Requirements:
  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, or similar
  • Profound practical experience in similar operational domains
  • Knowledge of tools like Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill, Cameo, and 3D Experience
  • Excellent team spirit, customer orientation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in complex environments and manage priorities/urgencies
  • English: negotiation level; French/German is beneficial
