Job Overview:

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a highly skilled Avionics Systems Architect to join our team in Donauwörth, Germany.

This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge avionics systems for helicopters, collaborating with a diverse team of experts from various nationalities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze stakeholders' needs to define operational concepts and use-cases for avionics systems.
  • Perform functional analysis and define functional architecture, including functional flows.
  • Specify all requirements, functional and non-functional, allocated to avionics systems.
  • Validate and cascade avionics requirements to avionics functions.
  • Define avionics external interfaces and propose the most effective avionics design.
  • Lead Filter Boards at avionics level for problem reports and ensure overall verification activities.
  • Prepare technical substantiation materials for Qualification/Certification at avionic level.
  • Collaborate with other helicopter systems and ground segment stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, or similar.
  • Profound practical experience in similar operational domains.
  • Knowledge of tools like Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill, Cameo, and 3D Experience.
  • Team Spirit, customer orientation, and problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work in complex environments and manage priorities/urgencies.
  • English: negotiation level; French/German is beneficial.
