Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Architect to join our team at Airbus Helicopters. As a key member of our Avionics and Systems Architecture department, you will be responsible for designing and developing avionics systems for our helicopters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze stakeholder needs to define operational concepts and use-cases for avionics systems
  • Perform functional analysis and define functional architecture, including functional flows
  • Specify all requirements, including functional and non-functional ones, allocated to avionics systems
  • Validate and cascade avionics requirements to avionics functions
  • Define avionics external interfaces and propose the most effective avionics design
  • Lead Filter Boards at avionics level for problem reports and ensure overall verification activities
  • Prepare technical substantiation materials for Qualification/Certification at avionic level
  • Interface with other helicopter systems and ground segment/open world

Requirements:

  • University degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, System Engineering, or similar
  • Profound practical experience in similar operational domains
  • Knowledge of tools such as Doors, Visio, Reqtify, Mantis, Nectar, Windchill, Cameo, and 3D Experience
  • Team Spirit, customer orientation, and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work in complex environments and manage priorities/urgencies
  • English: negotiation level; French/German is beneficial
