Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sales Operations Specialist to join our team in building the future sales operation organization. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and efficiently run the transactional part of the sales process, with a strong focus on defining, standardizing, and digitalizing sales processes and interfaces.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities in collaboration with stakeholders and users.
  • Design target processes and requirements for IT implementation.
  • Test and execute process and IT developments in partnership with IT functions and user departments.
  • Develop comprehensive support concepts, training, and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain standards for updating Salesforce CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics to facilitate order fulfillment and resolve customer issues promptly.
  • Maintain data accuracy and completeness in sales databases, spreadsheets, and other records.
  • Provide administrative support to sales teams, preparing sales documents, processing orders, and maintaining customer records.
  • Respond to customer inquiries professionally via phone, email, or in-person.
  • Support the organization of sales events, trade shows, and promotional activities.
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in sales and/or sales operations, with a willingness to challenge the status quo and optimize processes and IT systems.
  • A structured working approach and conceptual skills (experience in process mapping and value stream design is beneficial).
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce is a plus) and transactional Order-to-Cash processes (Cloud ERP).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach and ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Proficiency in English (German and further languages are a plus) for interacting with diverse sales teams across Europe.
