Gas Chromatography Sales Representative

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Gas Chromatography Sales Representative to join our EMEA Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Germany and Austria regions, based in Germany.
Key Responsibilities
- Discover potential opportunities within the market and customer segment, with a view to improving allegiance and sales revenue for Thermo Fisher Scientific.
- Interface and work closely with key members of the Sales team, CMD Divisional marketing teams, Business Unit Product Management and Marketing, Application support team and Technical service groups (IES) within CMD.
- Drive growth by sharing the voice of customer towards the Business Unit, attending technical collaboration visits to Business Unit manufacturing and R&D sites, and supporting new Product Introduction (NPI) prospects within territory to increase adoption rates and revenue return.
- Support and handle the sales funnel and forecast in collaboration with country leads and their sales teams, consult with key account managers and internal partners on obtaining customer forecasts for new and existing business, and work on strategies to achieve sales goals and metrics.
- Maintain awareness of competitor and industry activity, introduce new products and services as available.
Requirements
- Education: M.Sc. degree in Science or Business-based fields or relevant experience.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience working with gas chromatography and/or mass spectrometry instrumentation, preferably from routine laboratory environment (food, environmental or industrial).
- Skills and Qualifications: Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, fluent in German and English.
