About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager Pricing & Planning to lead commercial optimization initiatives for Barclays products and customer segments. This role involves managing cross-functional team collaborations and stakeholders up to the EXFo level, developing customer activation strategies, and driving technical optimization projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize commercial performance of various customer segments through pricing, product design, and line management
  • Identify and propose initiatives to improve commercial performance and lead their implementation
  • Organize and lead cross-functional working groups for commercial optimization
  • Drive cross-product pricing and limit strategies within the Buy-now-Pay-later segment
  • Develop and implement pricing strategies for existing customers, conducting pricing tests
  • Collaborate with local SA and Product Management teams to optimize commercial performance
  • Initiate and execute technical commercial optimization projects, acting as Product Owner
  • Ensure proper monitoring and reporting of ongoing initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product management, finance, or commercial functions in the financial services or insurance sector
  • University degree in business administration, economics, or a related field
  • Proven knowledge of financial products such as personal loans and credit cards, with an excellent understanding of the German cards, personal lending, and deposits markets and their competition
  • Strong understanding of objectives and goals of various functions (e.g., Finance, Credit Risk)
  • Ability to think abstractly with good commercial judgment
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills up to EXFo level
