This will involve penetrating established verticals and exploring new market opportunities. The Product Manager will serve as the voice of the regional customer, capturing market needs to inform the product portfolio strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Lifecycle Management
- Develop and execute a product portfolio with a clear definition and compelling value proposition;
- Gather regional market insights to influence both regional and global product lifecycle strategies;
- Lead new product development or enhancement projects based on solid market analysis and business justification;
- Drive profitability improvements for targeted verticals and explore new verticals for existing products.
Pricing Strategy
- Establish pricing structures and maintain a pricing book that aligns with product positioning;
- Monitor and analyze pricing trends to identify underlying causes when necessary;
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to grasp actual market demands and provide effective support to enhance revenue.
Business Support
- Acquire a deep understanding of applications within target verticals from a product standpoint;
- Enhance product and application knowledge by leading training sessions and developing educational materials;
- Serve as the product owner for ongoing sales and application engineering support.
Marketing Activities
- Engage with local technical associations;
- Understand local regulatory requirements and approvals;
- Lead product launch initiatives in collaboration with marketing communications;
- Support and contribute to the creation of marketing materials and events.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree or a minimum of 3 years of product management experience is preferred, along with at least 5 years of experience in a B2B environment;
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences;
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and a customer-focused approach;
- Ability to identify market needs and sensitivity to market trends;
- Self-driven and results-oriented, with a strong desire for professional growth in product management and marketing;
- Proficiency in English for effective communication;
- A keen interest in exploring new areas.
