About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Reinsurance Underwriter to join our team at Hannover Re. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and pricing individual reinsurance treaties and coverages for our primary insurance customers and brokers in the London Market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model and price reinsurance treaties and coverages
  • Support the treaty portfolio and monitor its systematic development
  • Build and maintain international customer relationships
  • Take responsibility for portfolio management and develop IT-supported tools
  • Help to organise internal projects and contribute to the optimisation of our business processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a commercial field or comparable qualification
  • Initial experience with a reinsurer, obtained through internships or other means
  • Proficient user skills in German and English, as well as strong communication skills
  • Willingness to go on occasional business trips
  • An open and assured manner, a self-reliant working style, and the capacity for analytical thinking
