Physicist Underwriter

Are you a physics enthusiast looking for a challenging role in reinsurance? We have an exciting opportunity for a Physicist Underwriter to join our team at Hannover Re.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage reinsurance placements from sourcing to pricing and decision-making.
• Sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating reinsurance concepts for insurance customers.
• Contract management, including renewals and business data coordination.
• Actuarial analysis and portfolio management to ensure profitability.
• Cultivate relationships with customers, brokers, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in physics.
• Interest in actuarial and economic issues.
• High degree of independence and flexibility.
• Business fluent English and conversational German.
• Will to travel worldwide (approx. 5-6 times a year).
