Job Summary
The Vice President Sales, Europe North is responsible for Benelux, Nordics, UK/Ireland and German speaking countries. You will lead one of our 4 global regions. This is a mature territory which requires a skillful approach to develop future growth, expanding our footprint within large clients, identifying new partnership opportunities as well as growing key accounts. It requires a mindset for balancing direct and indirect sales on a country-by-country basis.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for all sales in the region – both new logo as well as grow/retain business
- Drive sales excellence in day-to-day execution
- Focus on reaching and exceeding targets through implementation of good sales behavior
- Manage quarterly, monthly and weekly forecasting processes and rhythm of business
- Evolving our strategic Go-To-Market plans for the region by closely coordinating with Presales, Sales Operations, Marketing and Strategic Partnership groups
- Manage a team of experienced country and territory leads, encompassing both partner as well as direct sales specialists
What You Bring to the Table
- Multi-year experience in senior sales leadership roles with exposure to both direct and indirect sales routes to market
- Deep knowledge of various licensing models – perpetual, subscription, maintenance
- Ideally prior hands-on knowledge of transitioning organizations through business model changes
- Prior history of managing a multi-cultural and diverse sales region for a technology vendor
- Leadership by example, a willingness to engage with the teams and familiarizing yourselves with their challenges
- Prior record of implementing cross-selling initiatives
- Assertiveness and a desire to succeed
- Contract negotiation skills with an outcome-oriented, business-enabling mentality
- Strong focus on establishing a performance-based culture
- Structured, independent way of working
- Fluent English skills, additional language competency from countries in the region are a plus
