Role Summary:

As a Precision Assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely processing of production orders while optimizing resource utilization, adhering to quality standards, and complying with relevant regulations.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assembly Preparation:
    • Accessing and interpreting technical drawings.
    • Assessing the availability of necessary parts and materials in accordance with production schedules.
    • Commissioning required components and materials.
    • Adjusting order sequences as needed to accommodate changes.
    • Monitoring Kanban container levels and reporting shortages.
    • Documenting assembly processes accurately.
    • Coordinating assembly tasks with team members.
    • Executing assembly of components as per specifications, ensuring precision and defect-free results.
    • Setting up testing and assembly equipment, making adjustments as required.
    • Handling multi-layered component assemblies.
    • Creating custom products through initial assembly processes.
    • Identifying and rectifying defects.
    • Reporting non-repairable defects and providing insights on potential causes to supervisors.
    • Transporting materials to subsequent workstations.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Verifying the functionality, quality, and completeness of assembled components based on established guidelines.
    • Detecting defects in components and products, including tolerance issues and material failures.
    • Rectifying defects through part replacement or adjustments.
    • Documenting defect types and frequencies for quality control.
    • Recommending corrective actions to enhance assembly processes.
    • Identifying weaknesses in assembly workflows and proposing improvements.
  • Maintenance Duties:
    • Performing routine maintenance and cleaning of work areas.
    • Ensuring a tidy and organized workspace.

Your Profile:

  • 1-2 years of experience in precision assembly.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken German.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability.
  • Strong teamwork capabilities.
  • Ability to work responsibly and independently.
