About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Product Data Management in Engineering to join our team at Siemens Mobility GmbH.

As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product data management process, ensuring efficient and smooth data management, qualification, and consistency.

You will work closely with internal and external partners, including manufacturing, purchasing, logistics, and customers, to identify synergy and optimization potentials using Lean and Agile working methods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing data management processes and tools, such as SAP PLM and Team Center.
  • Leading a team of engineers and data management specialists to ensure data consistency and quality.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define and implement data management requirements.
  • Monitoring and improving data management processes and tools to ensure optimal performance.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in engineering, data management, and leadership.

Key qualifications include:

  • A master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or industrial engineering.
  • Many years of professional experience in engineering or product development.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM tools and processes, including SAP PLM and Team Center.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
