Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly committed individual with leadership experience to join our team as Head of Product Data Management in Engineering. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product data management process, ensuring efficient and smooth data management, qualification, and consistency. You will work with internal and external partners, leveraging Lean and Agile working methods to identify synergy and optimization potentials.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement data management processes and tools to ensure data consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify and implement process improvements.
- Lead a team of engineers and data management specialists to ensure effective data management.
- Represent the interests of stakeholders in engineering, ensuring process and method requirements are met.
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or industrial engineering.
- Many years of professional experience in engineering or product development.
- Familiarity with interfaces between IT, development, and production.
- Knowledge and experience in PLM tools and processes, ideally in Teamcenter.
- Leadership experience and ability to inspire and encourage employees.
- Purpose: Contribute to the transformation of transportation and climate protection.
- Mobile working/Remote working: Work hybrid, with the opportunity to work remotely to a considerable extent.
