About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Product Data Management in Engineering to join our team at Siemens Mobility GmbH. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the end-to-end product data management process, ensuring efficient and smooth data management, qualification, and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement data management processes and tools to support the engineering department.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify synergy and optimization potentials in data management.
  • Lead a team of engineers and data management specialists to ensure the successful implementation of data management processes and tools.
  • Represent the interests of stakeholders in engineering and ensure process and method requirements are met during tool development.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, or industrial engineering.
  • Many years of professional experience in engineering or product development.
  • Familiarity with interfaces between IT, development, and production.
  • Knowledge and experience in PLM tools and processes, ideally in Teamcenter.
  • Leadership experience and ability to inspire and encourage employees.
