Hardware & Software Assurance Engineer

Your Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Airworthiness and Certification Authorities to establish the Certification Baseline and define their level of involvement throughout the process.
- Oversee Supplier Development, ensuring compliance with RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178 standards. This includes monitoring processes for traceability, validation, and verification, as well as supervising Requirements Based Engineering, control over Single Event Upset (SEU) and the robustness of assigned equipment.
- Prepare comprehensive reviews with Airworthiness and Certification Authorities.
- Define the documentation requirements Airbus needs to receive at each milestone of Hardware and Software development, adhering to RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178 guidelines.
- Provide clear reports demonstrating compliance with criticality/safety requirements and program development schedules.
Your Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Aerospace.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Configuration Management, Electrical engineering/electronics. Experience in SW- and/or HW-Development is essential, with experience in requirements engineering being a plus.
- Demonstrate self-reliance and a systematic approach to work.
- Exhibit resilience under pressure.
- Ability to thrive in an international team environment.
- Proficiency with standards like RTCA/DO-254 and RTCA/DO-178 is required. Experience with complex electronic hardware devices, such as microcoded components (ASICs, PLDs), and complex COTS components is essential.
- Business fluency in German and English.
