Job Title: Airworthiness Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Assurance Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As an Airworthiness Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of our Design Organisation with airworthiness regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveillance of Design Organisation through proper application of airworthiness assurance tools, including audits, scorecards, and assessment of safety incidents.
  • Assess potential hazards and carry out investigations to define measures and follow them up until implementation.
  • Monitor the Engineering - SMS function and provide advisory services to the Design Organisation on DOA-related issues.
  • Qualify and surveil Suppliers having Design Responsibility and support the DOA Management, Policies, and Expertise department in obtaining, managing, and maintaining Airbus DS Design Organisation Approvals.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in the field of aerospace or a comparable qualification.
  • Ideal Auditor training and more than four years of professional experience in the field of engineering.
  • Knowledge of certification requirements in the military and civil regulations area is required.
  • Experience in the auditor field is mandatory.
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office and fluent in English.
  • German knowledge is desirable.
