Job Title: Airworthiness Assurance Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Airworthiness Assurance Engineer to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As an Airworthiness Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our products and services, working closely with our Design Organisation Approval (DOA) team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveillance of Design Organisation through proper application of airworthiness assurance tools, including audits, scorecards, and assessment of safety incidents.
  • Assess potential hazards, such as those identified via the DOA-SMS.
  • Carry out investigations, define measures, and follow them up until they are implemented in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the Engineering - SMS function and provide advisory services to the Design Organisation on DOA-related issues.
  • Qualify and surveil Suppliers having Design Responsibility and support the DOA Management, Policies, and Expertise department in obtaining, managing, and maintaining Airbus DS Design Organisation Approvals.

Requirements:

  • Completed studies in the field of aerospace or a comparable qualification.
  • Ideal Auditor training.
  • More than four years of professional experience in the field of engineering.
  • Knowledge of certification requirements in the military and civil regulations area.
  • Experience in the auditor field is mandatory.
  • Very good knowledge of MS-Office.
  • Fluent in English.
  • German knowledge is desirable.
