About Picnic

Picnic is a revolutionary grocery delivery company that's changing the way people shop for groceries. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, we're looking for a talented Category Manager to join our team and help us unlock the full potential of our business in Germany.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a data-driven approach to optimize our product portfolio and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and achieve category performance goals.
  • Work closely with Senior Category Managers to identify opportunities and make informed decisions that drive business results.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and customer preferences to ensure our product range remains competitive and appealing.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, retail, or analytics.
  • 2-5 years of experience in category management and buying, preferably in the fresh food industry.
  • Fluent communication skills in German and English.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and leverage KPIs and data effectively.
  • Commercial awareness and negotiation skills to drive optimal deals and customer satisfaction.
